Conformation Judging Training Scheme

The Conformation Judges training scheme is run every year. The Conformation Judges training scheme is conducted under the National Rules of the Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) and the F Regulations of the Association.

Trainees are responsible to ensure that they are aware of and understand the Regulations that apply to this scheme.  Any queries regarding the training scheme should be directed to the Chair of the Show Judges Training Scheme.

This training scheme is run each year and is facilitated by the Co-Ordinator of the Conformation Judges Training Working Party and the members of the working group who act as training Convenors for each of the 7 Breed Groups, assisted by a Secretary for the group.

This training scheme is based on self-learning principles as well as providing lectures and the opportunity to judge and assess dogs.

Trainees are responsible to ensure that they are aware of the Regulations and requirements that apply to the scheme, their obligations within the scheme and the dates that apply to all aspects of the scheme.

The Chair, members of the Working Party and many Members of the Association volunteer their time, knowledge and access to their dogs to provide the scheme and to assist Trainees to learn and gain their judging qualifications.
