Judging in the Conformation Ring
Conformation judging is both challenging and rewarding, and for those who love pure bred dogs, provides the opportunity to assist breeders and owners to keep each breed as true as possible to their Breed Standard.
It is a great pleasure to judge the great variety of dogs that are shown, to reward those that best meet the standard for their breed, and to meet many people who share your passion for the pure bred dog.
Standing around ringside I have often heard comments from exhibitors about the judging - comments regarding a judge basing their decisions on the dogs movement, or the head qualities of a particular breed. If this applies to you, then you are already showing an interest in dog judging.
So - why not take that interest one step further?

If you have been a Member for 6 years, you can start considering joining the Scheme now. The Regulations require a Membership of 8 years, but there are some commitments that need to be met to begin and these can be done in the 2 years prior to your application to join the training scheme.
